At Lettora, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Lettora application and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, add baby profiles, or log activities. This includes: account information (email, password), baby profile data (name, date of birth, gender, birth stats, photos), activity logs (feeding sessions, sleep logs, diaper changes, health records, milestones), device information (device type, operating system, app version), and usage data (features used, session duration).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; personalize your experience and generate insights from your logged data; send you technical notices, updates, and support messages; respond to your comments and questions; monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the app; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your personal data for advertising purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. We use industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. We implement access controls, regular security audits, and follow security best practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances: with service providers who assist in operating our Service (bound by confidentiality agreements); when required by law or to protect rights and safety; in connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice to users); or with your explicit consent.
5. Children's Privacy
Lettora is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults 18+) to track information about their babies. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Baby profile data entered by parents is protected with the same security standards as all other user data. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.
6. Account Access
Lettora currently keeps each baby tracker on a single device and does not support sharing access to a baby's profile across multiple users or devices. You are responsible for managing access to your device and account, and for revoking access to your device when appropriate. Multi-user sharing is on our roadmap for a future update.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Some data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form for analytics purposes after account deletion.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a portable format; restrict or object to certain processing; and withdraw consent at any time. 9. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to operate the Service and optional analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our app. You can control cookie settings through your browser or device settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending you an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
